Gerald D. Yeakula, Esq., BSC, LLB, LLM

SENIOR PARTNER

Gerald D. Yeakula is an acclaimed researcher, scholar, and a licensed attorney. He is Senior Partner at LibLaw and is responsible for planning the overall strategic direction of the organization. Yeakula has gained significant experience in the local non-profit sector, particularly in the area of anti-corruption and human rights. He is a candidate for the Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Human Rights and Democratization in Africa from the University of Pretoria, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree (Cum Laude) from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Economics from the University of Liberia.

Windor Dorko Tarplah, Esq., BSc, MPP, LLB, PGD

MANAGING PARTNER

Attorney Windor Dorko Tarplah serves as Managing Partner here at LibLaw. In that portfolio, Attorney Dorko Tarplah is responsible for the development of LibLaw’s overall strategies and implementation plans. She drives our organizational model, initiates linkages with partners, leads on developing LibLaw as a viable business and coordinates on performance and professional output delivery. Before coming to LibLaw, Attorney Dorko Tarplah gained experience working in the international non-profit arena as well as in local non-governmental organizations with a brief period in the public sector.

Attorney Dorko Tarplah obtained her LLB (Magna Cum Laude) at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia; a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Tokyo, Japan; a Bachelor of Economics (B.Sc.) from the University of Liberia and a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Research Methods and Skills from the Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht, Netherlands. Outside of the professional environment, Attorney Dorko Tarplah describes herself as an avid reader with keen interest in philosophy, personal development and technology.

Kim A. Harris, Esq., BBA, LLB, LLM

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Counsellor Kim Amelia Harris is a Partner and Managing Director at LIBLAW. She has over 15 years of professional experience in general administration and human resource management within the public and private sectors. She is responsible for controlling and directing our business operations.Atty. Harris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management from the Don Bosco Polytechnic, a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the Louis Arthur Grimes School Law, University of Liberia, and a Master of Law degree (LLM) in Labour Law and Employment Relations from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Her professional trainings include Policy Analysis Formulation and Implementation, Introduction to the Future of Labour Law. (Telework, Work and Fair Treatment), Human Resource Management and Development, and Performance Management.

Counsellor Harris has conducted desk reviews of National Labor Laws including the Decent Work Act, Civil Standing Orders and related policies, relevant to International Labor Instruments. She is also engaged in litigation and research. She has also conducted training sessions on violence and sexual harassment in the workplace. Attorney Harris believes in teamwork and commitment.
