JUDGMENT WITHOUT OPINION
Decided: February 4, 1982.
At the call of this case Counsellor W. K. Neufville appeared for the appellants and the Solicitor General, Jimmie G. Gaizue, assisted by Counsellor Richard MacFarland, appeared for the appellee and gave notice that the Republic of Liberia has abandoned further prosecution of this case. In view of the notice of abandonment, it is hereby adjudged that the notice of the abandonment given by the Solicitor General should be and same is hereby granted. The case is therefore ordered stricken from the docket and the appellants ordered discharged without day.
The Clerk of this Court is hereby ordered to send amandate to the trial court commanding the judge presiding therein to resume jurisdiction over the case and act accordingly pursuant to this judgement. And it is so ordered.
NOTE: Justice Boima K. Morris was absent when this case was heard; hence, he did not sign this judgment because of the untimely death of His Honour Roosevelt S.T. Bortue, he did not sign this judgment.
