Following notation by the Court of the representation made by the parties, one of counsel for movant/appellee, upon request made to the Court and with leave of Court, made a submission on the minutes of Court wherein he informed the Court that the Gövernment of Liberia had reopened the movants’ radio and television stations and returned to movants/appellees all equipment seized by the respondent/appellant, thereby fulfilling the purpose for which the suit out of which the motion to dismiss emanated was filed, thus making the entire appeal proceedings before this Court moot. Counsel therefore requested the Court to allow movants/appellees to file a motion for voluntary discontinuance.

Counsel for respondent/appellant acknowledged the fairness and accuracy of the submission made by the movants/appellees’ counsel and therefore interposed no objections to the submission. Counsel noted further that the respondent/appellant will, in like manner as the movants/appellees, file. the appropriate document with the Clerk of Court in respect of the voluntary discontinuance of the case.

The Court being satisfied :that the submission made by counsel for the movants/ appellees was in keeping with law and supported by the facts, granted the submission and the parties having complied with the undertaking made in the submission and the prayer that the case be stricken from the docket of the Supreme Court, it is hereby

ADJUDGED:

That the motion for voluntary discontinuance of the case, being in accord with the Revised Rules of the Supreme Court, Ill, part 2., the motion is hereby granted and the case ordered dismissed and stricken from the docket of the Supreme Court.

The Clerk of this Coult is ordered to send a mandate to the judge presiding in the court below to resume jurisdiction over this case and give effect to this Judgment.

AND IT IS HEREBY SO ORDERED
