In re: FINDING OF THE GRIEVANCE AND ETHICS COMMITTEE OF THE LIBERIAN NATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLAINT OF ISAAC B. DAVIES, MONROVIA, MONTSERRADO COUNTY, AGAINST ATTORNEY A. CADMUS MOORE, OWENSGROVE, GRAND BASSA COUNTY.

JUDGMENT WITHOUT OPINION

Decided: December 20, 1979.

This matter grew out of a complaint made against Attorney A. Cadmus Moore by one Isaac B. Davies, Attorney Moore’s client. The matter was referred to the Grievance and Ethics Committee for investigation and recommendation.
The Committee invited the parties and heard evidence on both sides. They found the attorney guilty of unprofessional conduct and recommended one month’s suspension. To this re-commendation, Attorney Moore took exceptions and announced an appeal.

When the matter was called, Counsellor Toye C. Bernard, Chairman of the Committee appeared on behalf of the Com-mittee; but before the call of the matter for our review, Attorney Moore had written to the Court withdrawing his appeal, and requesting to be allowed to comply with the Committee’s recommendation of one month’s suspension. It is therefore adjudged that the recommendation of the Grievance and Ethics Committee for the Attorney’s suspension for one month, should be and the same is hereby ordered enforced. And the Clerk of this Court is ordered to send a mandate to all subordinate courts, informing the judges therein that the attorney is suspended from practice of law for one calendar month and that he should remain suspended until the 21st Day of January, A. D. 1980. And it is so ordered.

NOTE: Mrs. Justice Brooks-Randolph being absent when this matter was heard did not take part, hence has not signed this judgment.
