PETITION FOR A WRIT OF PROHIBITION

 

JUDGMENT WITHOUT OPINION

At the call of this case, Counsellors Edward K. Goba and Othello S. Payman of Kemp & Associates Legal Consultancy Chambers appeared for the Petitioner, and Counsellor Tiawan S. Gongloe, Solicitor General of the Republic of Liberia, appeared for the Respondent. Counsel for Petitioner made a submission that the Government of Liberia has lifted the ban placed on Petitioner’s Newspaper unconditionally and therefore the matter is now moot, to which submission Counsel for Respondent interposed no objection.

 

After carefully considering said submission, facts of the matter and the law controlling, it is hereby ADJUDGED:

 

That the submission be, and the same is hereby granted. The Clerk of this Court is hereby ordered to have this case stricken from the docket of this Court. AND IT IS HEREBY SO ORDERED.
